STRAWBERRY AND ASPARAGUS DAY

A celebration of local cuisine for all generations.

On the last Sunday in May, a full-day Strawberry and Asparagus Day event takes place in Breg pri Litiji. As the name of the event suggests, on this day everything revolves around a fruit and vegetable combination of strawberries and asparagus, and around local cuisine and accompanying entertainment. The event is becoming more and more traditional and recognizable in Slovenia.
