Before visiting the Sitarjevec Litija Mine, make an appointment at the Litija TIC for a Sitarjevška mal`ca (cake with cracklings, bacon in buckwheat dough, apple crumble, horseradish and apple mousse, compote with seasonal fruit) and a dwarf’s schmorn (škratov šmorn). Traditional cuisine related to mining for groups of at least 10 visitors!
