WHERE THE PRESENT MEETS THE PAST
Away from the urban world, hidden among the hills, we invite you to unwind in a green environment, where you will forget everyday stress by the open fire. Enjoy the morning listening to birds chirping and sipping freshly brewed coffee from your own coffee machine. Evenings can be spent listening to the sounds of nature on the terrace or warming yourself by the indoor fireplace. The house stands by a quiet road, and although it is over 100 years old, we managed to preserve its original spirit with a complete renovation in 2012. Thick stone walls ensure that there’s no need for air conditioning in the summer, as the house maintains a pleasant temperature. In winter, you can experience a true winter fairy tale with us.
Next to the house is a “kozolec,” a traditional farm structure that can only be found in Slovenia. In addition to the indoor and outdoor fireplaces that adorn the house, it also features central wood heating, so you’ll always be comfortably warm.
The surroundings are peaceful, filled with flowers, meadows, and forests. On clear days, you can enjoy stunning views of the nearby hills and mountains. One of the advantages of country living is the ability to obtain local seasonal produce (fruit, vegetables, milk, eggs, wine, etc.), and you can also help yourself to the garden’s offerings.
